Prayer Request

1 John 5:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

    Matthew 18: 18 – 20 Amplified Bible (AMP)

18 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [a]shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth[b]shall have [already] been loosed in heaven. 19 “Again I say to you, that if two [c]believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.”

Pray the Word of God by Faith and Receive His Promises with Thanksgiving!
Our prayers must agree with God’s Word.
When we pray, our prayers must line up with His Word. The only prayer that God will hear and answer is a prayer that is based on what He has said in His Word. If we pray according to the Word of God, then we are praying the will of God. We can only have confidence in our prayers when we know that what we’re praying for is something that God desires to bring to pass.
    Make your prayers simple.
Do not complicate and confuse yourself when you pray.  Prayer is with Faith and not feelings.  The beauty of prayer is its simplicity. Prayer is simply saying to God what He has already said in His Word. This protects us from getting off into areas that are not the will of God.
Trust in God’s Timing to Answer your prayer.
Don’t cancel out your prayer, once you pray His Word, by looking at your circumstances and situations.  Don’t look at your need to see if God has done anything yet.  Just because the problem or situation hasn’t immediately changed, it should not hinder our confidence that God has heard and answered the prayer we prayed according to His Word.
Pray with the understanding that God loves you.
The most powerful prayer comes from the heart of a person who knows that God loves him or her enough to answer the request they have made.
